I'm doing nothing productive so might as well post some updates. :)
>>>Unfortunately, I'm not yet through with my movie/series marathons. My eyes feel really exhausted night after night but I still find it enjoyable. Currently, I'm watching Desperate Housewives Season 2 but it's not that interesting compared to Sex and the City which I have watched from Season 1 up to its finale. I'm also done with all of the seasons of Lost but then again, the adrenaline rush while watching the series is nothing compared to Heroes and Prison Break. The series ended with a lot of mysteries left unanswered. For now, I only have more or less 10 movies to watch and Seasons 1 and 2 of The Practice. With all the other things that I need to do, I just hope that I'll be able to watch all these stuff before I kiss my Thinkpad goodbye.
>>>Speaking of the Thinkpad, last August 24 I have already tendered my resignation here in Amkor. And it's not just that, Sir Ric, my coolest boss, has resigned as well. Indeed, it was really surprising dahil inunahan pa nya ako. hehehe! He had filed his resignation a week earlier than I did. Atleast, I have no reason to feel guilty about, knowing that he was the one who referred me to this company. Hihi, aalis na rin naman sha.:) Two weeks from now, I won't have a hard time getting out bed real early because I don't have to. Yey!
>>>I'm almost done with my papers. Finally! DOST Bond, NBI Clearance, Passport --- all settled! Though, the TIN Card is yet to be released while my passport is scheduled for release by tom. pa. DFA, here I come...again! hehe! Ang wala na lang is the request for SSS card which is, I think, optional and not that important. What the heck, I have my passport and all the clearances that I need to leave the country. :)
>>>Btw, after all those tiring days which I've endured in order to deal with different government agencies, isa lang masasabi ko - putaena nila! Especially in Bureau of Immigration, isipin mo a lot of government employees working there are just sitting on their asses all day doing nothing. There are some na tatambay lang sa starbucks and from time to time, they'd offer people this "Express" thingy which means na isang Ninoy lang eh mapapabilis na ang processing of papers na hinihintay mo sa BID. To hell with their under the table transactions!

My start date is initially set on October 1 so if all goes well then I might possibly leave by end of September. I'm on the process of preparing my stuff at naka-excel pa. hehehe! And hopefully, Kuya will keep his promise to buy me luggage and let me have the laptop. hehe. So that means kelangan kong magpakabait and maglambing this weekend. :) Calling the attention of Ate --- yung promise mo na external harddisk or kahit ipod video will do! :) hehe!
>>>Good news, most of my friends in ACN have been promoted and I'm really happy for them. I've heard na malaki rin daw ang increase nila --- more than half of their current salary. But then, sabi nila, their *toot*toot* will have to suffer ata. It's obvious that the management had addressed the sentiments of ACN peeps but then it looks like that they're just cashing out the same amount of money pero dinerecho na sweldo. Pero, I think mas okay na rin 'to rather than to wait every quarter.
